Quick. Easy. Healthy. How To Make No-Bake Energy Balls.

A plate with chocolate chip energy balls.

This no-bake energy balls recipe has become a staple in our family. The best part? It’s healthy, delicious, and super quick and easy to make. Even our children love to make these!

When it comes to these no-bake energy balls, you can add pretty much any ingredient you have in your pantry. I’ve always made a few batches to bring with me to the hospital when I was expecting, and would also freeze some for when I got home. This way I knew I’d have a healthy snack that would give me a boost of energy when I needed it while caring for my newborn.

Ingredients
• 1 cup rolled oats
• 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1/2 cup ground flax seed
• 1/2 cup crunchy or smooth peanut butter
• 1/3 cup honey
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions Combine all ingredients in a bowl, mix and form into balls using your hands. Place them on a baking sheet and freeze until set for about an hour. And voilà! A super easy healthy snack to enjoy!

"Louis and Léa creates such wonderful boxes for new parents, and are great gift idea as well. All their products are so well thought out - they are good for baby and good for the environment."

"Being a new mom, I came to Manitoba knowing nobody. Since joining Louis and Léa's Raising Little Ones Facebook Group, I’ve met a few people I think I can call lifelong friends. When I don’t know what I’m doing and need some help, the first place I go to is this community to find what other mamas do with their kiddos. I also like being able to help other mamas with questions that I just went through as well! Plus, having the monthly box is a bonus gift to myself which as a mama, I don’t get often. Louis and Léa has changed my life in many ways."

"I got my March box today, on my due date!!!! It was the best surprise. And inside were the most perfect items. I was wanting to get another swaddle before we head to the hospital but came to terms with the fact that I'll likely have to wait, well... now I don't!! The gender neutral pattern and colour is perfect as we don't know what we are having. The brush and comb are so sweet too, they were also on my list of must gets and now I don't have to! The rosemary mint shampoo bar smells divine, I cannot wait to use it and help reduce postpartum and hair loss. Love, love, love, all these items and the adorable St. Patrick's Day photo prop that will be used for many years! Thank you for making this day so special."
