This no-bake energy balls recipe has become a staple in our family. Best part, it’s healthy, delicious, and super quick and easy to make. Even our children love to make these!
You can add pretty much any ingredient you have in your pantry. I’ve always made a few batches to bring with me to the hospital when I was expecting, and would also freeze some for when I got home. This way I knew I’d have a healthy snack that would give me a boost of energy when I needed it while caring for my newborn.
• 1 cup rolled oats
• 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1/2 cup ground flax seed
• 1/2 cup crunchy or smooth peanut butter
• 1/3 cup honey
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions Combine all ingredients in a bowl, mix and form into balls using your hands. Place them on a baking sheet and freeze until set for about an hour. And voilà! A super easy healthy snack to enjoy!
